Icarus Wood was known in Hayward as the outsider of his rich family and troublemaker at Mount Eden High. His crowd was known as the 'bad crowd', the ones who didn't accept crap from no one and do what they want to do. Icarus thought he had the world to his feet, everything he wanted, every girl drooling over his looks and lethal personality and he enjoyed every second of it.
Hathor Ortiz was someone who wanted to be left alone, she gave up on her own happiness long ago. She wasn't interested in anything or anyone and lived for the things that numbed her pain. She would do anything to prevent herself from feeling something, but when Icarus became interested in her she would do anything to get away from him.
