Ever since Dean Winchester got the Mark of Cain on his arm, his world has been turned upside down. His humanity is slowly dwindling away from his grasp and something entirely different takes a hold of him. Something foreign, monstrous even. He barely has control of his actions and every gut feeling inside of Dean is telling him to kill. In a tale that follows the story line of season 9 and 10, Dean must battle the demons taken residence inside him or be swallowed whole in the process. The only person, besides his brother, tethering himself to the ground would be Cas who won't seem to give up on Dean, no matter the acts he commits. The story of unlikely love. The Righteous Man. Now, as our character list expands, we learn that the black-and-white, good-and-evil worldview we've had thus far might be nothing more than a fairytale. We find obstacles - both old and new, physical and emotional, easy and difficult. Our favorite characters may become our least favorite, a random side comment may come back to bite us in the ass. Details we thought were irrelevant turn out to be life-changing, and the world may never be the same. With my own spin on it, of course, because as my pal Dean said so eloquently, "After everything I've done for this family, I think I'm entitled."

This story is about Dean Winchester saving people. I got this idea from a dream. Dean was put in the job to save people after his mom died. Just his dad knows that he is the hero. he starts losing everyone else as the job filds his life more and more. Sam hates him because he feels like Dean doesn't care about him. Cas is also distant. Dean has always had a big crush on Cas. But he believes Cas couldn't like him anyway, at least not now. his life is getting more misreabale by the time that passes. he just wants everything to end. this is a rewriting of the original but its so much better and has more stuff so its so worth reading:)
