As if waking up in a different universe wasn't enough.. How about waking up in a different body. Sakura's death happened as a result of her two teammates' fight to the death. Naruto's attempt to change Sasuke wasn't going as expected, and now they were about to kill each other with their final blow. Naruto's intention had been to let Sasuke win and pierce through his body. But Sakura witnessed this whole thing and jumped between. It was a sickening feeling. Seeing two of the most important people in her life trying to kill each other. It was terribly wrong. In the spur of the moment, she flickered between them and took on their blows. It was abrupt and so quick that it felt like a dream. Except the pain was real. But she knew one thing for sure. She would do it over and over again if she had to. Because she wanted to protect them.
