Ares and Aphrodite have a child. She is named Harleen, the Goddess of Illusion and Power who inflicts intimidation and desire. Harleen's life becomes literal Hell after Ares grows an attraction towards her.
Wars break out, battles start, knights are made, killing is nothing, and love is not innocent. Will Harleen be able to escape her madness, or will she finally surrender and give way? In the end of it all, will they be able to say she was still beautiful?
*I combined things that I like into one story: The Joker, Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn, and Greek mythology. Not everything about the back ground on the gods in this story will be 100% accurate.*

However the children of Aphrodite can be just as skilled as the ones of Athena when it comes to tactics on the battlefield. They just need to study their enemies for a few seconds and then they would be able to come up with a perfect plan. One particular son of Aphrodite seeks to prove this and make his mom proud. Due to an unfortunate event in his life he doesn't have his voice to help him, so he has to rely on what he can accomplish with his physical and mental skills. The goddess knew well what waited the girl and as much as she wished she could change her fate she knows all to well the issues with going against fate. Not a week after her birth the princess was kidnapped from her room with none the wiser. It wasn't until the queen herself came to check on her child that she noticed the empty crib. By that time it was too late, the princess was gone and the gods were silent. ------------------------------ Alright guys this is my new story that takes place in the young justice universe about the sister of Wonder Woman. Just a heads up her name is gonna be Donna Troy because the show didn't do anything with her other than put her in a few political hearings. Which was really disappointing but whatever lol. Now obviously this takes a lot of inspiration from the absolute Wonder Woman comic, but some things will be different since I'll be filling in some of the blanks with my own Wonder Woman knowledge so don't expect a 100% accuracy on some things. Also don't expect this story to get updates anywhere near as much as my reaction fic. This is just something I've been wanting to write for a while and unless something changes my main fic will still be my Absolute Reaction⚡️. Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. The Gotham Queen
This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character.
