This story is about a lonely and isolated girl name Cecelia, who's life is like any other 10th graders life. Nothing interesting or exciting has ever happened to her ever since she was adopted at 1 years old. She has no siblings, no friends, and almost every girl at school ignores her and calls her crazy. She constantly wishes someone would appear that she could trust and depend on. But has her desire for a friend taken the wrong turn? Her life was fine up until the new kid, Carter, randomly shows up at her school. And ever since he arrived, Cecelia has always felt something was off about him. She could sense his presence everywhere she went. When she tries to find out what he's up to, little does she know, that she's getting herself into a lot more adventure then she hopes for. Will Cecelia find out where, and what, Carter is really from? Will this stranger bring out a side of Cecelia that she never knew was there?
