Lily Allende Niles is an average girl,who likes to paint and complain about life. She has average grades,an average amount of friends;just about the same problems regular teenage girls have. With a hard working mom on her back, (that she hates)and a missing dad...Lily knows that she has to work hard for what she wants. However,she doesn't know what she wants. She aspires to be nothing and hates the world;she views it negatively and judges everyone. The world is a place of death and damage in her eyes and the boy she sees in her dreams is the only light she believes she has. She decides to paint the perfect painting of him to keep him by her side. But why is the canvas now blank? And just who is the new teacher?
