"We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already." -J.K. Rowling This story was made as a school project, but I decided to post it because this is where my idea for The Immortal Guardians Series came from. It is about a girl who must fight to survive as a human in the lands of Orenda. I may edit it to make it longer as it is very short and choppy with chapter lengths and not very descriptive. The ending is very short as I rushed when making this project.

Completed | No one comes looking for a dead girl, as long as she stays dead. • • • Having finally escaped the vicious hands of the life she runs from, Noah hides out in a new city, with a new identity to match. But when life becomes too hard to live without falling into her old ways, she comes up with a plan. She can earn her living doing what she knows best, fighting; she just can't let anyone find out, not if she wants to survive. Except lying isn't as easy as she thought it would be, not when she finds herself drawn to three incredibly attractive and incredibly secretive guys who seem to watch her every move like predators on the prowl. She can't afford to let them in, not when the secret she's been hiding for too many years starts to seep from her skin in front of them. How is she meant to live if they find out she's not exactly human?
