Nineteen year-old Evelyn Walker hasn't been thrown out a window, but in a sense, she feels like she has. It's 1922 and New York, New York is as beautiful as ever. Music is wonderful, and so are the advances that the US is making, but not everything is so wonderful for her. Segregation is holding back Evelyn's amazing abilities and the Prohibition Era is in full swing. Just when Evelyn thinks there's no where to turn from her harsh reality, she meets Walter Stanter, one of the most well known businessmen of his time. A friendship with this man soon turns into something more serious, or at least that's what she thought before she was thrown out of a window...

The girl made all A's - with the exception of that one B, damn professor Waller for that - The girl is truly talented. She can also juggle between choosing a filter for her Instagram post while drawing conclusions for a scenario presented in her sociology class. She seems to have it all, but this "total package" comes with a heavy toll - more like a sharp tongue. Yeah, she has one of those and wastes no time using it. George Mills, also known as "Flynn" - a nickname given to him in high school because of a terrible prank gone haywire - just wants to be a scientist. He is just no good in science. He also has the competence to make soaring grades while still managing to keep up with Lebron "King James" James, basketball stats. Some say he is talented. Even when he has changed his major "fifty fucking times because I just can't get shit right." He seems to have it all - no, really he is a great kid. With this "total package" comes a heavy toll - more like an endless buffet of annoying verbal comebacks. Yeah, he is one of those and wastes no time letting everyone know. One thing brings them together and one thing tears them apart. The storm that happens in between may not be the hardest to solve, after all, what would be a storm without lightening and thunder? These two are more alike than they may believe and "Storm" will help us find out just how alike they truly are. ------ Welcome to the "Storm" series.Complete
