My name is Lily Franzen. I am 16 years old, and I live with my parents and little sister. We have a natural standard, with my mom being a lawyer and my dad a doctor.
The world that I live in is quite strange if I say so myself but, it is the world I live in. You could call it a parallel universe to the old plant Earth. This planet, Cato, was discovered 200 years before Earth exploded. Earth exploded about 1275 years after World War 4.
Our world is about genes and blood. There is a special and rare kind of blood called AD+. A type of blood that has immortality, and other abilities that are unknown. These people are either killed or donate most of their blood to medics, and then refilled with normal blood types, causing the "magickal" properties to fade.
My world was turned upside down when I figure out a secret that might just get me killed. And might put you, in danger.
