"America has changed. We've been using a new system, ever since the new president was elected. This system is called Marking. Getting Marked is basically when you go to the city hall and you have to sign a paper stating you'll follow the law and all that boring stuff nobody reads. After you sign it, you're immediately taken to a room called, "Paradise". It's soundproof. This is where the marking happens. This is where-- They burn your skin."
