Peter Parker is headed to college, and the transition couldn't possibly be any tougher. All of his friends are leaving him, his job isn't getting any easier, and he still has to do the "superhero thing". 

However, things take a turn for the worst when, as a result from one of Spidey's battles, a loved one is hurt. It is now a battle against, not only a villain, but also against the world as he must now find a way to help the people that he loves.

This story is set in my version of the MCU, so you will absolutely find references and see cameos from other Marvel characters from stories like "Secret Avengers" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming". 

You will still be able to enjoy it if you haven't read those books, but I highly recommend reading it as it'll further enhance your reading experience as you will be able to catch stray references and things like that! :)All Rights Reserved

From this, Peter finally gives up on holding together relations between Spider-Man and the other heroes, and finds things very different, but things get worse when a massive threat appears, forcing the world to rely on Spider-Man, and Spidey himself to rely on those who've broken his trust. Note: the main plot of this story is mainly inspired by the video game Batman: Arkham Knight. This is my first story with significant AI help, so if it gets goofy in the middle, I'll cut it out.
