Three year old Joy and six month old Jeremiah are tired and hungry. Their mother is struggling to balance her job, paying rent, and trying to find her children's fathers. Then one day Joys Mother decides to write a help wanted notice saying :“Babysitter Needed Bad. Three year old girl, six month old baby. Contact: Curtis Avenue.” when a girl about four years younger than Joy's mother (who is 18) knocks on the door, Joy and Jeremiah's lives are a roller coaster of money trees, baby monkeys, and new friends.
