In an alternate universe at the age of 15 everyone regardless of age, sex, ethnicity is required to go in to the local dedicated Scarv Initiation Centre's in order to discover what Scarv (animal equivalent) is theirs.
Scarvs outline what you can do for the rest of your life on earth: what jobs, who you can marry, how many children you can have etc.
So what will happen when the protagonist of the story falls for someone who has been rejected by society because of their Scarv? Will they be able to put aside their differences? Or will their Scarv be to shocking to overcome? And how will society as a whole take to their situation?
