BEFORE STORY STARTS READ THIS! In Chicago you have schools and you have to choose high school when you are sixteen. Before that, you are schooled in your own faction of education. If you choose your faction of education, you will eventually get a job of that kind. Amity people will be farmers and painters, Dauntless people will be the police and armystuff (dauntless stuff) etc. Tris prior has to make a jobtest to look in which she fits.
