London, one year ago. Three boys against one girl. Three people get away. One is hospitalised. It's not who you would expect. In the present day, Cath Aaron's trial is long over, and her and her parents have upped sticks to the country. They think their troubles are over when they find Hearts Hollow: scenic, silent, and utterly ordinary. Until Daisy Jones, town genius and sixth form student, goes missing. Suddenly, her track record has got her in deep trouble, and she has only a few days to prove her innocence. Armed with one old book and the only two girls in town who still believe in her, she's set out to find the kidnapper. But not everyone in Hearts Hollow are what they seem, and unless Cath gets to the bottom of Daisy's disappearance, she's going to find herself dealing with something worse than the human she expected.

What if all the myths are real? Monsters, witches, faeries. Well NEWSFLASH! They are. And I've been thrown into the deep end. Before I was a normal girl, well as normal as any 17-year-old can be, but after moving in with my Grandmother everything started to change. She wasn't as crazy as everyone made her out to be. The friends I made in school were different than the others and I fit right in. Even weirder, the elusive handsome stranger I have been dreaming about for the past 2 years is here, and he recognises me too. I just hope that the dreams that plague me don't come true. Otherwise, things won't end well for any of us.
