Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. On their adventures together, Link and Zelda get closer than they ever were before. Could this finally be the Zelink we've all been waiting for? Dark Side of the World {A Legend of Zelda Retell} (Completed) by TheBoomStick

Link: a rogue troublemaker who steals from village people, flirts with all the women, and tortures the people of Hyrule. Living life the way he wants it, no rules, and not a care in the world. Zelda: a woman who gets tangled with the wrong people and doesn’t know that she was kidnapped as a child and is really the true ruler of Hyrule. She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. He knows about Zelda being the real ruler but has kept that a secret this entire time. He also knows that Link is suppose to be the hero of time but doesn’t seem threatened by a rogue troublemaker. This story takes on a whole new twist of the Legend that I created. I do not own any characters, settings, or history in this story. This is just purely a fun fan fiction of the best video game ever. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. It's been 5 years since the end of the Calamity, and all is well in Hyrule. Zelda and Link have settled comfortably into their new lives - Zelda as Queen, and Link as her right hand. But when a marriage offer arrives from a nearby Kingdom, they will both have to decide what it is they each truly want... for themselves, and for the future of Hyrule. ~ ~ ~ Post-BOTW, Zelink, short and fluffy, from both Zelda and Link's POV. A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location.
