After a highly publicized affair with her somewhat stepson, Bianca Cruz fakes her own death and vanishes from the social scene of Mexico. She changes her name to Catalina Brown and moves to LA where she focuses on filling her days with two jobs and therapy sessions to overcome the trauma that caused her to be admitted into a rehabilitation centre and lose contact with her whole family. She just wants to start afresh and forget. But when the person she loves the most reappears in her life, she's forced to realize that you can't escape the past forever. She has to confront the guilt and shame she felt. And also decide whether the man she loved and betrayed her is worth giving another chance. A story about learning how to accept the mistakes of the past in order to obtain hope for the future.
