Opal is raised as a normal filly but she grows up different from the rest. She is born as a pitch black filly with a gleaming cream colored mane and a perfectly shaped star is formed on her forehead. She is unpredictable and as beautiful her looks may be she is not tricked easily. Life was tough growing up after being separated from her herd as a young foal but nothing stops her to get her herd back together. How far will she battle her way to free her herd?

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first.
