The story is about five friends over coming the harsh life after the Dark Age! Living solely to survive inside the town of Agila that is constantly attacked by DEVONS! Town only protection is the wall that surrounds it, with a mere 100,000 thousand population. Children grow up with no knowledge of their outside world other than of being killed by a Devon outside the wall! Children in Agila town at young age, already have full potential of becoming either a MANDIRIGMA or BABAYLAN whom is capable of protecting and securing the ordinary people from extinction!
In the town of Agila, it's about killed or be killed! Though they are fighting not just the Devons but also an internal conflict started way back history of their town can recalled!

Every year, my town chooses a sacrifice for the demon that "watches over" our home. In exchange for a person from the village between the ages of 17 to 25, the demon protects our village. And because of that pact, our village is protected for the next year, under the demon's watchful eyes. No one knows what happens to those who the demon chooses, but there's a lot of theories about it. One is that the demon eats or absorbs those who are chosen - another, that it kills them. But this year, I'm the one who's chosen. I get to meet the demon I've feared since I was a child, and now that I'm 24, and am considered an adult, I could have left the village behind. But I didn't. Something inside me told me to stay. Now, I'm going to die. I just know it. I can't leave now, or run away, because the town would be unprotected for a whole year, and that's where my family lives.
