"Sara, I don't know how to tell you this, or if I even should," Fredric started, drawing a deep breath.
Sara sat patiently for him to continue, head cocked to the side slightly like a puppy. The gesture almost made him laugh.
"I'm... afraid," he finally admitted.
"Of what?" She asked.
Fredric shrugged, "I don't know, a lot of things I suppose. I can't describe it."
Sara leaned in, resting her forehead against his. "Don't be. You know I'll be here for you." She closes the distance, kissing him softly. It takes his breath away. She pulls away finally, smiling that bright and slightly goofy smile of hers.
"Forever."
