We're all familiar with the phrase: Nobody is Perfect. This phrase would fit Quinn Connor well, if Quinn was a nobody. The only difference was that she was indeed a somebody who was indeed perfect. At least the students in Cape Coral High believed so. Who could blame them? A captain of the female soccer team and the student body president who could still maintain good grades? Guys would want her and girls would want to be her. But alas, Quinn's life was not as perfect as everyone thinks. Even the prettiest eyes keep the darkest secrets. For 18 years, Quinn was able to hide away all that was dark in her life. That all changed when she celebrated her 18th birthday, where her life began to slowly tear apart. Her mother who she loved met a tragic fate. Her relationship with her dearest friends were on the verge of breaking. Just as things were already bad, she realised that she has being watched. Would she be able to protect her loved ones? Would she be able to gain back her life which took her years to earn?

"You're beautiful Elise" "Zach, please..." I smiled when she called me Zach. It was always Zachary or Mr. Walton and when she called me Zach I... "Zach?" she sat up on the bed raising an eyebrow "If you don't want..." I cut her off by kissing her gently while tugging on her shorts until I removed them without breaking the kiss. "I want this, more than you can imagine, I just want you to be sure you want it too" Without saying anything she started undoing my shirt's buttons, until she lost all her patience and ripped it off. I chuckled "Eager much?" "Don't you think it's about time? We've been playing cat and mouse enough" "Elise just shut up and kiss me, kiss me like it's the first time yet not the last, kiss me like it's something you've been wanting to do for so long and you finally can, kiss me..." Zachary Walton, a 28 years old bachelor, CEO of Walton's industries is known for being ruthless, arrogant and full of himself. He doesn't smile easily, or at least not to everyone. Jack Reid thought he had all the time in the world to figure things out like how to win over Mia Sinclair, the girl he's been hopelessly in love with since freshman year. But senior year is flying by, and Mia still looks at him like he's nothing more than a punchline. All his grand gestures, cheesy jokes, and late-night confessions have gotten him nowhere. It's fine, though. Jack's always had Quinn Stephens, his best friend since forever. She's the one who knows him better than anyone, the one who calls him out on his ridiculous plans, and the one who's always there to pick up the pieces when things with Mia inevitably fall apart. But lately, Jack's started to notice things about Quinn he never did before the way her laughter lingers in his head, how her eyes catch the light just right, and the way her voice feels like home. For the first time, Jack begins to question everything he thought he wanted. Maybe Mia isn't the girl of his dreams. Maybe it's Quinn. Maybe she's been the one all along. But just as Jack starts to imagine what life could be like if he took the risk, time seems to run out faster than he ever expected. Because some moments can't be undone. Some chances only come once. And some love stories don't get the ending you think they will. Nothings Ever As Perfect As It Seems is a bittersweet, unforgettable tale about love, loss, and realizing what matters most before it's too late. For readers who believe in love stories that break your heart and put it back together in the most unexpected ways.
