Over 500 Females was entered into The Casquette Ball. They would find their mates--vampire or werewolf-- and be forced to marry whoever is mated or claimed. I never cared about The Casquette Ball, mostly because I found it irrelevant..... but now, how can I when my name is placed in to attend the ball. - Annabelle

 

       The world was taken over by superbeings. Werewolves and Vampires. Both mortal enemies, the human population are slowly decreasing because of suicides, turned, and muder. Humans didn't have a choice but to stay in the middle and become the bottom of the chain. Annabelle was a poor, loving 17 year old who was turning 18. Receiving a letter to attend the Casquette Ball, she was forced to attend. 

       During the ball, The Females would be claimed or mated. Either to a Vampire or A Werewolf, if one is lucky they wouldn't be claimed or mated. But, What if both supernaturals are mated/claimed to a human? Annabelle has a choice, a choice to choose over a vampire or a werewolf.
