Kritika Settri Lives in Jaipur, Rajasthan. One day she gets home from school to find her mother Sunita talking to a weird man. His eyes are everywhere and he seems somehow more sinister than the usual salesmen.  Kritika gets grounded because instead of serving the man tea she flounces out of the house. She finds clever ways to investigate the man while still being dutiful to her mother, but a terrible fire makes them homeless. Perhaps this is karma?
