Heaven, a shining kingdom that surrounds the lifeless planet of Surface. Heaven surrounds Surface like an outer layer of shining glory. Holes in Heaven are called Gates, they look down on Surface like shining beacons of hope. The castle of Heaven overlooks one of the largest Gates know to any angel. °•°•° "You don't belong here." Mina walked toward her sister. Her strides were long and elegant. Her dress blew behind her in the harsh wind. Mina was the definition of beauty. "I'm our mothers blood just like you." Amelia's voice was horse as she breathed through the mask. Amelia was not Mina. Amelia was short and curved. Her features were sharp and bold, they stood out while Mina was soft and smooth. Amelia's hair was darker than a nights sky and half as beautiful. "But you aren't are you?" she paced around the girl. "You're not a true angel." she jabbed Amelia's chest and looked down at her. "You're sick! A freak of nature!" She screamed and grabbed her sisters shoulder. Amelia froze up as she was held over the edge of the balcony. "But don't worry. I'll send you to where you belong" she ripped the breathing mask from Amelia's face and swiftly shoved her. The feeling of falling didn't register in Amelia's brain. All she could think of how much she wished she could be Mina as she watched her sister loom over her. The air was cold as it rushed past her, and her breath was taken from her lungs. Slowly her eyes closed as her mind went black.

He grabbed my arm at the last second and pulled me back, pressing my body tightly against his. "You like living on the edge, don't you?" He asked with a teasing smile, he was so close I could feel his breath on my mouth. "Only when I know you're there to catch me if I fall," I smiled back at him, biting my lip. His smile disappeared and a frown was put in its place, "we should talk." "About why you're being an ass to me?" I asked, feeling bold. I saw the shock register on his face before he could hide it. "I wasn't aware that I was," he said and cleared his throat. My heart was beating out of my chest and I could smell him so clearly, pine and a hint of lavender, mixed with the scotch from his breath. I knew he hadn't been drinking a lot, but I had, so I took my chance, the urge to kiss him taking over. Though his lips were pretty, it was the feel of them that sent my mind into a sensual state of intoxication. His lips gently pressed against mine made my legs shake. His hands held me tight by the waist and mine was lost in his hair. In that kiss was the sweetness of passion, a million loving thoughts condensed into one moment. The hint of a promise. A promise of realness, a promise to love him forever. - This is the sequel to BLAKE. This is a Criminal Minds story. I do not own Criminal Minds.
