After breaking a mysterious present from her best friend, Karen finds them both in a world she has absolutely no understanding of. A Shinobi world.
How was Karen supposed to know she trusted a witch as a best friend? What makes situations worse, the world Midori sends them too speaks Japanese. A lot of it. 
    For a full-blooded English girl, this proves to be a problem. Her only concern is returning home. To her mother, to her dog and to her (non-existent) job.
