Sweeney sends Betty, her best friend, to take a gift to Oscar. He later turns on her and the two start to date without Sweeney's consent. Betty was already a girlfriend to Peter, Oscar's younger brother. She gets pregnant for him but she aborts it not to make her parents know. She breaks up with Peter. Betty now forces Oscar to give her the first priority or risk losing Sweeney. He later plans to drop Sweeney in favour of Betty.
