Mindilynn Jacobs and Colson Johansen haven't been friends in years, something that changes when Colson saves Mindilynn's life one night from a bully who was taking things too far. However, before the two can officially reunite as friends, disaster strikes, tearing their two worlds apart. Literally.

However, after learning some startling facts about her friends' origins, she too finds herself being brought to this other world, stuck in prison with Desire Wisdom, a lost princess who had been seeking refuge on Earth before their capture. Luxor is the perfect utopia, except for the fact that its King is experimenting on teenage war prisoners unbeknownst to its citizens. Solana has spent her entire life in captivity.
