Frost bite

We are known as the five or the lucky ones or royalty... well amongst each other we are enemies. Each of our families control a part of what's left of North America, after the world fell into chaos out families found Oder and established the five sections. North, south, east, west, central.
Now I know you're wondering, why is that so bad? Well through time each of the families.. changed. Their children had abilities that were unnatural, magical. The "gift" is different in every person, no two people made the same. I am one of them.

Four of the five of us have found our talent, Asher from the north, can create ice from breath, a storm by a thought and water by a word. Scarlet, from the east, can change and take form of what she pleases by simply touching it. Lance can move the earth and talk to animals, he came from the southern portion. Nick can fly, literally, he moves the air around him and actually flies naturally he's from the west. Then there's me. I'm not really sure what I can do yet, no ones sure if I'll have a talent at all. I'm from the central sector, my name is Eslena.

You may be wondering why this is relevant, well, the five of us have to fight to keep our sector. The ones who lose have no say in where they move the one who wins can change everything. We currently live in The Dome, a school for ages 16 up and the place we fight for our future.
