Jade is the back of the classroom, dark clothes, always stuck in a book kind of girl. Being a social outcast has made her no friends. Of course people know she exists, but only for the short amount of time it takes to scribble down cruel notes and stick them on or in her locker. But the thing is, she has secrets. Secrets that she doesn't tell anybody. Like the fact that her nine year old sister is dying in a hospital, or the fact that she rarely gets sleep in between her work shifts at the local diner. And no one seems to care about the dark circles under eyes or her being late all the time. To the rest of the world she is unnoticed and uncared for. That is until someone notices.
