A 17 year old girl struggles with and addiction brought on by friends in her home town of L.A. Her parents find out after a traumatic incident puts her in the hospital. They know she would be to much to handle on their own and send her to family where they grew up, New York City.Far away from any influences that may put her back in the hospital or worse...end her life. After dreading the move, Madeline West soon realizes that living in the city may not be so bad after all. She meets new friends, finds a passion for a career, and even falls in love.
