“Were you that broken? I am here. Why can’t you see that?” he said. Tears are about to fall from his eyes. I never see him like this; he looks so vulnerable, so hurt, and so tired. He's always happy. He's always smiling. “You have a choice, Dani.” Then the next thing, I know, his tears had escape. I cannot handle seeing him cry. I run to him and put my hands around him. “I know, I know,” and I was crying with him.  “I won’t promise you like he did but I will prove to you that I’ll always be here.”     Danielle Rivera is alone, sad and broken. Her parents died on her very birthday in a plane crash. She has to live with her aunt who is oddly rich. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.
