"I will kill you. Rip you apart. Piece by piece, until you beg me to have mercy on you" Sara spat with anger and clenched fists, making the man look at her in amusement. "Is that so?" Demetri smirked quite intrigued by her, and walked closer, until he was one foot away.
"Well then kitten" he whispered in her ear making her halt and stiffen due to the close contact. "Until me meet again" was the last thing she heard before she felt a pain shoot through her neck and blacked out.
Sara Blake, an outstanding detective who is very sarcastic, smart and bold has been posted to Seattle to solve unexplainable murders. Murders which involve mythical beings she couldn't possibly fathom. What happens when she's the singer of Demetri, a vampire and a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard who is intrigued by her? And a posting which was meant to bring joy, brings nothing but tragedy? What happens when she gets sucked into the supernatural world and is in the midst of chaos, with Demetri being responsible for her downfall? Will she hate him forever or will love bloom somewhere between the hate?
