This is a story about how Laya's parents die in a roller coaster because it wasn't build properly. She has no one to live with except her aunt. Her aunt has to work so can't help her. The First
I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. She hasn't seen her sister in a few years due to her being at Boston Cambridge University and her sister not telling her friends and colleagues about her. But when a murder occurs on campus, will she allow her curious mind to take over and follow her sister and Detective Jane Rizzoli in finding the killer, or will she decide it's better to stay out of the case until Maura tells her friends that she exists?
