This is not set in the TVD seasons.
So, Caroline has been a vampire for a year, she is eternally 17 years old. Her mother died two months ago. She wants to have a fresh start, she is tired of this town cause all it's given her was heartbreak, pain and sadness. Her mother died there, she lost her boyfriend cause he cheated on her, Elena, Bonnie and Damon act like she doesn't exist. The only one she will miss is Stefan, he actually cares about her, and he comforted her when her mother died. So, she decided to move to New Orleans. She found out that the Werewolves, Witches, Vampires all love peacefully.
What she doesn't know is that she is going there and not knowing about the war that is brewing. There is a war brewing between a wanna be king and the most powerful supernatural being. What happens when the powerful being falls for her? She thought his heart is only filled with darkness, but there might be some light in his heart.
