All dressed in black battle armor he stands on the hillside like a statue frozen in time. The only indication that he is indeed alive are his pitch black eyes scanning the horizon. For several minutes his intense eyes seem to notice every single detail in the beautiful landscape below. But it would seem what ever he is searching for, it's not there. With an impatient growl, he adjusts his sword, and starts walking towards the forest. Each stride so powerful and menacing it would send shivers of fear through any being. Scanning the forest to the right he curses, as he spots someone running. With a raised brow he mumbles "This is all we need. Where do you hide, you annoying whelp? This is not time for games." Teeth clenched, standing 7 feet tall, he seems to dominate the entire landscape with no effort at all. Observant his dark eyes stare at the running figure as it slowly but steadily approaches. He seems intrigued, unable to take his eyes off the running figure. Hidden in the dark shadows of the ancient trees, his midnight dark eyes are puzzled. "What is this?", he whispers. Slim, tall, lean muscles, the figure appears human, but definitely not male........

It was now nighttime and I returned to my room which was very dark. The curtains were closed, strange I'm sure it was open this morning... Whatever. I put my bag down and went straight into the shower. I didn't spend a long time inside cause I was very tired and wanted to sleep. It was an exhausting day, I searched for some work, but like usual I failed... I sighted. I went out of the bathroom with only a towel around my waist and started to sit down when someone pushed me into the floor. Shit! Who was that? What did he want? I was very afraid and I had a lot of question passing my mind in this few seconds but didn't want to submit to my aggressor. I groaned and tried to get myself up, but he... Yeah, he was too strong and big to be she... Put his knee on my back and started to tie my hands together with some rope. Was he trying to kidnap or tie me? I froze in fear for a few seconds and stopped moving. I suppose he let his guard down since I stopped struggling, so I took this chance and flipped us over. It was now my turn to be on top and somehow succeeded to untie myself. I was lucky he didn't have time to fully tie me yet, so it was kind of easy. It was dark, so I couldn't see his face, but I still put my hands around his throat and started to strangle him a bit. 'W-Who are you and w-what do y-you want?' I asked trying to hide my fear that I miserably failed. '...' He still didn't respond, I was starting to loose control on myself. His silence was killing me and I started to shake in fear. Then he spoke and caught all my attention: 'You're so cute when you're afraid pet.' I froze, I recognized this voice and my fear turned to be true. All the struggling to escape, to disappear, to forget about him now came back in an instant. I was now trembling constantly losing all control of my body, my hand lets go of the man throat and all I could do was shakily say: 'Dimitri...' Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Forest eyes
I locked eyes with it. Its amber gaze pierced through me, like it could smell my fear. There was something ancient in that gaze, something that stirred an unsettling feeling deep in my gut, a sensation I couldn't quite shake. Its claws scraped against the earth, long and curved, leaving deep marks in the fresh dirt as it moved closer. I could hear its paws thud against the ground, massive and deliberate, each step sending another shock of terror through me. The silence that followed was unnerving, heavy in the air, but then a loud crack shattered the stillness. It came from the forest-close, too close. The beast whipped its head back to the forest, quickly turning his whole body around so I was behind him. The shock from him turning so fast made me stumble a few feet backwards. The ground beneath us seemed to shift as it suddenly lunged forward, its muscles rippling with terrifying power. With one mighty leap, it vaulted over the rotting wooden fence, clearing the barrier effortlessly. The impact of its landing shook the earth beneath my feet. I staggered again, trying to keep my balance as I watched the creature, now free, pause on the other side of the fence. It cocked its head backwards meeting my gaze one final time. Then, without another notice, it darted into the forest, disappearing into the darkness like a shadow swallowed by night. I stood there, my body still trembling, staring at the empty space where the creature had been. The night had swallowed it whole. And though the sounds of the forest returned, soft and distant, the terror of that moment lingered. Was it still out there? Watching? Waiting? My eyes darted back and forth in the forest, trying to see it still hung around. I didn't know, but I couldn't shake the feeling that this encounter, this creature, was only the beginning. Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..."
