Living in alleys and continuously searching for food and for dry places to sleep does not seem like an ideal life style, but I have no choice. I've been like this ever since I escaped Hydra.
I was a successful excitement, one of their prized possessions, it was a wonder I made it out alive. I have no idea what they did to me, but Now I have the ability to shape shift into anything I want. Granted, it takes practice, but still.
I've been living like this for years. I escaped when I was a teen, so I think I'm around 21 or 22? I'm not too sure.
It was just another morning for me, I stretched and left the alley to find some food. It was all going normal until I saw the Avengers in battle. I've heard of them before... I've seen what they can do...
I crouched down, trying not to be noticed so I can observe the fight... until I stepped on a twig...
"Shit..."
The avengers all turned in my direction. I froze... contemplating what I should do. It turns out my little encounter with the avengers is about to become so much more and I have no idea how many hearts I'm going to capture.

The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor. While I can't remember many things from that night, I do remember those blue eyes vividly. My lips pop open and a blush tints my cheeks as well as his. This book doesn't line up with the Marvel Universe, the past, present and future don't all line up, I've changed things a bit for how I want them to be. ... I open my eyes and immediately close them again, bright lights shine down on me. I think back to why I'm in this situation, why I'm laying on a table with the smell of disinfectant in the air. ⏪ I was getting everyone out of a building at the centre of the Skylea attack, there was a trapped boy, I had to save him. When I found him my attention drifted to a window, out of it I saw something heading straight for us, so I grabbed him and ran down the stairs as fast as I could. When we were nearly to the front door it crashed into us, the building started collapsing, I told him to run. I tried to get out but I heard creaking, stupidly I turned around, a metal rod from I don't know where impaled me, I was trapped. The bloodloss and the fact that I hit my head on the floor wasn't doing me any favours. I tried to stay awake, I did, I focused solely on Tasha's voice. Cue the "Underground" TikTok audio from Cody Fry. Imagine this: You're Nat's sister and go with her and Clint to Vormir. You learn that a sacrifice has to be made in order to retrieve the Soul Stone.
