Hay gente que piensa que cuando una se autolesiona es única y simplemente para llamar la atención. Ellos no saben todo lo que una sufre tanto psicológica como físicamente hasta llegar a la decisión de cortarse. Reconozco que los que hacemos o hicimos esto estamos mal, pero no en el mal sentido, no quiero decir que con esto estemos locos o algo parecido, sino mal anímicamente, algo dentro nuestro está fallando y desgraciadamente a veces nadie está ahí para notarlo porque nosotros no lo demostramos, porque pasar por esto nos hizo más "inteligentes". Dejamos de demostrar lo que realmente sentimos para demostrar lo que todo el mundo quiere.
Pero la realidad es que por dentro estamos rotos, esas falsas sonrisas que se volvieron nuestras mejores máscaras, esos "Estoy bien" nuestra hermosa mentira.

I didn't ask to be born into this world, none of us did but we make the best of it. I'm a twenty-five year old single man. Why you may ask? Because I've seen what love can do to a person. It can destroy them. My parent's are amazing but I can still remember the time's my father threatened to kill my mother, left us due to his mental illness. They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them.
