Shimmer Lake (TAKING BREAK)
It's 1917 in the tiny town of Cobbingham, England. Rowena Griffinson turns 18 tonight. And all 17 years of her disappointing life have been spent in the Griffinson Manor, up until now. No friends. No freedom. No love. At least not from her father, Mr. Merle Griffinson, current owner of the manor, and not to mention emotionless and distant. Rowena and Mr. Griffinson rarely speak, until a fight on the night of her 18th birthday where things take a turn for the worse. As each night passes, something takes over Rowena, causing an unconsciousness during the night... Whatever it is, it could consume her if she doesn't do something about it. He was a quiet person, mainly from being shy, and didn't feel the need to try and be friends with everyone. So he assumed no one had any reason to bother him. However, he was wrong. After his father married some woman who was a rich socialite, and Ashe started going to the same school her daughters, Ashe ended up in the same class as one of them too, and she held a huge grudge against him for some reason. That petty grudge drove her to do unspeakable things to him, things she could never take back, and drove a peaceful boy like Ashe to a destructive headspace. He became broken, inside and out. He felt like there was no hope left in living and wanted to end it all. That was until he met a stranger named Beatrix who changed his life for the better.
