All Ryunosuke Akutagawa ever desired is an essence as simple as acknowledgement. A quintessence that appears so outwardly attainable, and far from a feat to grasp. Yet, for the sickly stray dog, it is a lifelong dream out of reach. Depravity taints the abstract idea of acceptance, as he longs so desperately for a single word. A simple phrase; an ephemeral string of words that can only stick for eternity. Nothing more, and nothing less.
