Under Stranger Skies

Avery Starkweather is your typical teenage girl until she begins dreaming of a handsome stranger who pushes her to her death every night she falls asleep. But her dreams become reality when the gorgeous boy she's been dreaming of shows up unceremoniously in her homeroom on the first day of school. Avery finds herself inexplicably drawn to the beautiful boy who calls himself Cal Valerian... But there's something undoubtedly off about him.
After a freak accident, Avery ends up on a space cruiser captained by Cal as she learns that he is heir to a vast galactic kingdom on the far side of the universe. Cal reveals that he comes from a distant planet, Genesis Major, populated by a race of genetically designed super humans who call themselves Empyreans. And if that's not enough, he reveals that they've been experimenting on the humans on Earth since its inception. Avery is the product of one of their experiments. Her DNA is able to replicate itself at an alarmingly fast rate, giving her the ability to self heal any injury.
Once on Genesis Major, Cal's father, King Augustus, gives Avery an ultimatum: marry Prince Cal or watch as Earth is destroyed. Now all Avery wants to do is find a way back home but she finds herself falling for Cal. Will she escape back to Earth or will she accept her new destiny and give in to her heart?
