Vampires aren't a threat to humans like in silly old stories. Humans have taken control, not that they lost it. The Scientist is in charge of studying them and finding a formula to tame them completely. But The Scientist is also doing experiments on his own for his very own hypothesis. If he finds the formula before he finishes his own studies, the human will enslave the creatures. If he can support his own hypothesis before, then he can save them. He can save everyone.

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. The Werewolves Vampire

52 parts Complete Mature

He was the beta in his world. She was the vampire. They were in a relationship. A secret relationship. He wouldn't be able to explain his interest in the vampire to others. He wouldn't be able to explain the blood sucker to others. When the alpha dies without a heir, he is forced into the alpha position of the strongest pack in the world, the White Moon pack. He was suppose to be the ruthless, killer alpha. It was years since they were last seen by others. He became the ruthless alpha and she became the vampire who pretended to be human. What was he suppose to do when she was brought to his house in the middle of the night bloody, beaten, and chained? Her charge, sneaking into the White Moon pack. Punished by death. What was he suppose to do? What was he suppose to do when he learns she's pregnant with a hybrid? A vampire and a werewolf. Is he suppose to watch her get killed or tell his pack she's his mate? Is he suppose to tell others he's been sneaking in the vampire like she was his whore? How was he suppose to explain this? Maybe, he'll just get rid of the evidence. After all, he's the ruthless alpha of the White Moon pack... (May contain explicit language and sexual content)
