Life isn't a dance on roses. Unfortunately, I didn't have anyone to tell me that, I learned that the hard way - by myself. With a family that seems so perfect seen from the outside but truly is like a warzone where everyone must fight for themselves, I've learned to take care of myself and never let words affect me. From my friends I've learned a lot of things. I've learned what love truly is, I've learned that your friends is your other family but most of all I've learned that it's okay to cry if you need to. Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine.
