It's Christmas Eve, and Kelly has Zach busy getting ready for her parents to come for dinner. But it becomes obvious that this is going to be harder than he originally thought. With Kelly's father having his own thoughts about Zach, her Mom simpering about Sam's absence, and a sudden new horse to train as a Christmas gift, it will take everything Zach has learned from Kelly to help her get through this holiday madness.

If you haven't read The Time Giver, I would recommend it so you are more familiar with the characters in the story.
