Hope has always been there for people. With a quiet attentive face, people find comfort in unburdening their struggles into her listening ears. Though no one finds comfort in this more than Max. Friends since they were five, Hope has always been the shoulder Max could come to when life turned pear shaped.

But when Hope falls for the new kid, Max finds his always present listener inattentive.
The tables turn when Hope faces her first heart break and sees no way past her pain. Awkward and cautious Max tries his best to be the listener to Hope as they both learn what it means to really care.
