Lucy feels neglected by most of the guild. And to top it all off she gets kicked out of Team Natsu when Lisanna comes back. Lucy leaves Fairy Tail to train. After eight years (one year for the Tenrou group), she comes back and is strong. Everyone is happy, and everything goes back to normal until Mira notices the diamond ring on Lucy's finger. Everyone then finds out about the ring. What would Fairy Tail think about Lucy getting married? What would her former team think? And what would Natsu think?
