Ready to go back to 2010 with me? Amber wakes up in her childhood bedroom with a massive headache. She looks at the date and it says; April 11 2010. This can't be right, because only yesterday it was October 16 2024. But it is right, it is real. Somehow she ended up as a 16 year old in 2010, and on top of that, her sister is dragging her to the auditions for the X Factor. There she realizes, she's competing against one direction... But they don't even know they're one direction yet. Follow her on her journey to success, helping the boys come together, becoming friends with them, and maybe even fall in love. I honestly can't really cope with Liams passing so I'm writing a fanfic. This is my way of keeping Liam alive. The idea of the book is one that I pulled from an old unpublished fanfic I wrote in 2014. The idea was to travel back in time to be with one direction, which now seems something I want to do more than ever. I'll tell you now that I decided the main character will travel back from a time where Liam was still alive so she doesn't have to deal with knowing when he'll pass away. Just to keep everything light and fun. Disclaimer I'll publish as I go so sorry if you have to wait for the next chapter, but I'm uploading every other day. Normally I wouldn't publish my writing I'm too much of a perfectionist to share stuff like this but grieving alone really sucks so I'm just hoping us directioners can find comfort within each other. I'll try my best to include many personal details and events about the boys into the book but I have to leave some room for creative writing. I'm also just grieving and hurting so please let's be kind to one another.

NIALL: What in the world just happened? I choked at seeing this girl? And did a spit take when I actually got a good look at her? What the hell is wrong with me? LOUIS: I turn around because I'm sure that would have made Summer laugh. But she remains silent. Her hands are still doing something with my phone and the stereo. Her face is blank looking at Niall with her eyes slightly squinted. That's weird. Summer has laughed almost every time one of us does something funny. ZAYN: "But you're One Direction." I hear her mumble. She sighs. "And that matters because?" She doesn't need to be so insecure around us. She just needs to be herself. I know that's what Niall likes. She turns around, giving me a look and with her hands on her hips. "Do I need to explain it to you?" She says sassily. Then she giggles turning back around. HARRY: "Where do you want to go?" The way her American accent blends in with her awkwardness and sassiness is attractive. And it's also funny because Niall hasn't taken his eyes off her the whole time. Mission accepted. Niall and Summer. LIAM: I look at him with a smirk on my face. He furrows his eyebrows at me. "What?" "Summer will be here soon and with all of us busy with our interviews. I thought Niall could occupy her." Zayn squints his eyes at me and comes right up in my face. "What?" I back up laughing a bit. He backs off. "You're quite the mastermind." He gives me a nod of approval. SUMMER: Man, how are we living in a world where a normal teenage girl can't fangirl anytime and anywhere? This sucks. I mean, at first, I was not upset at the offer I received, but when the lie slipped out, it was more than enough to push me over the edge. And then they had the nerve to come back and try to make things better? Ha. No. So when I finally went on a bucket-list adventure, history repeated itself and I was stuck in the same situation I was before. Only this time, he was fighting for my love. But I was stubborn, stuck on old ways, and refused to let him back in. But he never gave up, and that is something I still admire to this day. For some reason, my love was worth the fight.
