This story begins with a girl. She has long red-orange hair and brilliant purple eyes. She lives in Cohoes, New York. Everybody in her school knows who she is. Her family has everything a family could dream of. She should be the happiest girl, right..? Wrong. This girl, Alanah Vi, may seem happy on the outside, but for the last 17 years, she has had to hide a secret from almost everyone. Everyone except her grandmother, who died 4 years ago.
When an old friend returns into her life, everything she has ever known will get turned upside down.
