The year is 2056, and the world lies in ruin. The third World War truly showed its colors in becoming the "war that ended all wars" in a sense, being that it lasted only a few days or so. Nuclear warheads has ravaged the world and radiation has claimed the lives of millions of humans, animals, and plants. Of course, some survived; obviously. This is the story of one of those survivors. His name is David Cross, an intellectual young man who is now striving to carve a path to survival for himself and the allies he makes along the way. He will encounter many troubles, and life changing decisions may lay in his path; but with his wits, knowledge of modern day tech, and the help of his friends, who says a kid can't fix the world?

Thank you for reading!
The book cover is only temporary for now, and I would love any constructive criticism as the story continues! Chapters will be uploaded whenever possible
If anything within the story is under some sort of copyright from another individual, credit goes towards them, not me. I don't think there is any material relating to that, all of it should be my original work; but if there is, I would like to know.

Thanks again!

[ CURRENTLY GOING UNDER MAJOR EDITING ] Remnants of a once great land lay scattered everywhere, replaced by tangled bushes and reanimated corpses. A brother and sister find themselves in the home of complete strangers, who have tended to their very needs after an explosion. The only way to survive is to battle these twisted corpses, find critical resources and a stable shelter. But with the world devastated, they're putting their own lives at risk to find even the most simplest things, such as bread and water. Is there any way of escaping this reality that has become the greatest depths of hell?
