The year is 2056, and the world lies in ruin. The third World War truly showed its colors in becoming the "war that ended all wars" in a sense, being that it lasted only a few days or so. Nuclear warheads has ravaged the world and radiation has claimed the lives of millions of  humans, animals, and plants. Of course, some survived; obviously. This is the story of one of those survivors. His name is David Cross, an intellectual young man who is now striving to carve a path to survival for himself and the allies he makes along the way. He will encounter many troubles, and life changing decisions may lay in his path; but with his wits, knowledge of modern day tech, and the help of his friends, who says a kid can't fix the world?

Lucy was a girl who saw the best in things, and she always knew how to care for people. She used her medical knowledge to tend to Jace's wounds when he was injured, and she helped Tom when he fell ill. She was the glue that held the group together. Jace was a person who knew where his morals were. He'd stand and fight as well as heal the wounded. He knew how to find information. He scoured the abandoned town for books and maps, and he used his knowledge to help the group navigate the dangerous terrain. He was also a skilled storyteller, and he kept their spirits up with tales of adventure and heroism. Together, the three of them set out to find other survivors. They travelled through the ruins of their town, avoiding the infected and the raiders who roamed the streets. They encountered many dangers along the way, but they never gave up hope.
