Essence Porter is a eight-teen-year-old, bonafide material girl in every sense of description, who lives the fast life and preys on men hearts as well as their pockets.

A night out on the town with Essence lands Unique into the arms of well-known bad boy, Dwayne "Juice" Marshall. Against her grandmother wishes, Unique reluctantly falls in love with him and becomes sucked into a life of sex, money, manipulation, seduction, and lies.

Will she get a shocking wake up call that has here knocking at death's door? Or will she become someone's wake up call?
