When Jasmine's parents leave her alone in a childhome, then die later from drugs and alcohol, she gets placed in a orphanage. There she sees the dirty work of a cruel gang living next door, kids get beaten all the time and shes next on the list. But they decide to mix things up a little and let her choose. She either joins the gang or gets beaten up like the rest of the kids. Figuring she could work out some sort of escape, she chooses to join the gang where she meets their next target... a fabulous, gorgeous, gay boy called Jamie. Typically, life decides that her life hasn't quite been as awful as it could be and Jasmine descovers true, bitter, unrequited love. What can Jasmine do, as the gang plots their next attack upon Jamine's gay guy?

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not.
